| Breaking News |  | Friday, May 14th, 2010: Lalonde out for 2 Weeks
A blow for Michel Lalonde today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 2 weeks with a fractured finger. Lalonde suffered the injury colliding with a player at a base. Although officials from the Texas Tornado are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Lalonde's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature.
So far in 2010 Lalonde is batting .301 with 1 home run, 11 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has 41 hits in 136 at-bats and a .371 OBP. |
 | Wednesday, May 5th, 2010: Lewis and Reyna Suspended, Out 5 Games
The two main figures in yesterday's brawl at The Monde By The Pond have been suspended for 5 games each. That action was taken today by the league commissioner's office and will take effect immediately. The suspended players are Jesse Lewis of the San Francisco Bullets and Juan Reyna of the Texas Tornado.
Presently Lewis is batting .228 with 23 hits and 5 home runs. He has knocked in 16 runs and scored 13 times.
Reyna in 2010 has fashioned a 2-2 mark, 7.50 ERA and thrown 24 innings in 6 starts. Opposing clubs are batting .340 against him.

 | Wednesday, May 5th, 2010: Harris and Rabe Fight, Suspended 9 Games
There was a heated confrontation yesterday at The Stadium at Fair Park between the Tornado and Bullets that resulted in ejections and suspensions. Lance Harris of Texas and Bobby Rabe of San Francisco were issued 9-game suspensions by the league office for initiating the on-field disturbance.
Harris is presently batting .306 with 11 home runs, 20 runs scored and 28 RBIs. His OBP is .394.
His record in 2010 is 1-2 in 6 starts and Rabe has a 3.82 ERA.
